How to apply

We are looking forward to receiving your application.

Deadline Friday March 5th at 5pm!

This year we have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to apply. We have simplified the application form and hope we have made the instructions really clear. If you run into any difficulties check the content on the pages and blog posts.

You can also talk with other applicants and previous winners on our Facebook page and group. In fact, check our all of our social media sites by following the links on this page.

How can I apply to Future Makers?

Step 1
Check to ensure that you are eligible. Check the details on our Eligibility Criteria page.

Step 2
Register your interest in making an application. This will ensure that we can track your application and give you the chance to win €200.

Step 3

Make sure you are a registered client of the Crafts Council of Ireland. You can do this by sending an email request to registration@ccoi.ie with “Future Makers client registration” in the subject field.

Step 4
Become a fan of our Future Maker Facebook page and join our group. Follow us on Twitter to ensure you are up to date with all the latest news, tips, video interviews and event information.

Step 5
Download the PDF application form. You can insert your information in the PDF, save it until you have completed your application.

Step 6
Make sure you have included all of the required supporting documentation including images of your work and that they are clearly labeled.

Step 7
Email a digital copy of the application form, supporting documentation and images to futuremakers@ccoi.ie on or before 5pm on Friday, March 5th 2010. Post two hardcopies of your application and supporting documentation (images can be supplied in JPEG format on a disc) to:

Crafts Council of Ireland,
Future Makers 2010,
Education Training and Development,
Castle Yard,
Kilkenny.

The An Post stamp on your posted documents must show a date no later than Friday, March 5th 2010.
