Future Makers 2017 Judges Announced
Awards and Supports

Future Makers 2017 is delighted to announce that our judges for this year are Clive Fiddis and Aisling Farinella.


Clive Fiddis

Clive Fiddis has been Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Course Director in the Applied Arts and Crafts for more than thirty years. He has worked in Scandinavia, extensively in Finland and recently established a workshop in Ireland.

He has been involved in Applied Art / Craft external examining, course development and assessment at degree level since 1985, responsible for the Master Class Programme in Applied Art and is joint chair of the Irish Ceramic Education programme.


Aisling Farinella

Aisling Farinella is a stylist and fashion director working across creative and commercial platforms with an established profile working in Ireland for over ten years,  regularly contributing to publications including Irish Tatler, Image magazine and The Irish Times and commercial clients including Brown Thomas, Arnott’s and numerous domestic and international advertising campaigns.

Aisling is editor and co-creative director of Thread magazine, a print publication which focuses on fashion as design culture and community, considering Irish talent in an international context.
