Thanks to everyone who submitted work for the Future Makers judging process. Geoffrey Mann, Lesley MIllar and I had a tough time making decisions! You can expect to hear by the end of this week or early next week!!

A quick update for all of those who applied to Future Makers! We had an increase of over 60% in our applications compared to last year. We are currently going through the internal shortlisting process and hope to notify people by the end of next week! Fingers crossed and good luck to all!!!

For all of those with a passion for wool, check out the latest exhibition at the Science Gallery which opens to the public on Saturday March 20th – you will be amazed at how hyperbolic geometry, coral and crochet converge on a global scale!

Thanks to all who made an application to Future Makers 2010. The application deadline of March 5th has now passed. We will be posting information about the assessment process in the next week so keep checking the website!

Visual Artists Ireland is the all Ireland body for professional visual artists. As a membership organisation, it provides services, facilities and resources for artists, initiates artistic projects and publications and acts as an advocate on behalf of individual artists.
