The international competition “CREAZIONI GIOVANI” is an initiative of MACEF in association with Artex, Centre for Artistic and Traditional Handicrafts of Tuscany and under the patronage of CNA and Confartigianato.
“CREAZIONI GIOVANI” is addressed to young, self-producers, artisans and/or designers who have not yet turned 35 years of age on 1st January 2013.
The candidates can be: artisans; artists; holders of diploma and/or graduates coming from all levels of arts and design teaching; young people in a phase of starting a business.
The conditions to be admitted to participate in the competition are as follows: ° having one’s own production; ° having never exhibited one’s own productions at Macef.
The candidates must work in the field of artistic handicrafts and applied arts with contemporary overtones, making productions with strong components of innovation, research and personal artistic expression.
The selection of candidates will be made by a special Judging Committee, composed of experts and representatives of the involved institutions.
The 4 winners of the competition will have the right to: a free prearranged stand of 5 m2 in the exhibition section
“CREAZIONI”, for the January 2013 edition of MACEF; free accommodation for the duration of the event (for 1 person); publicity on the promotional material of the event; inclusion in the print folder of the event.
The submission dossiers must reach the Organisation Secretariat by and not later than 30th November 2012. For the projects delivered after such date, the postal stamp or the shipping document of the courier will be considered.
