Leonardo Mobility – Funded Placement Opportunity to National Museums Northern Ireland

The Crafts Council of Ireland in partnership with the National Museums of Northern Ireland are seeking expressions of interest from craftspeople to participate in a four week Leonardo Mobility work placement in Northern Ireland from March 21st –15th April 2011, fully funded through Léargas. The work placement will provide the opportunity to develop research, professional practice and curatorial skills as well experience working in a Museum environment. The successful candidates will have access to a space to develop their own practice during the work placement programme. The proposed placements are suitable for both contemporary and traditional crafts people and will be facilitated at either the Ulster Museum or the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.
