Louth Craftmark Ltd has been awarded funding to develop and build Creative Spark, the Louth Creative Community Hub in Dundalk. The project will offer workspace and training support facilities to the creative industries and the community sectors in County Louth.
Community & Good Relations Officer:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the main role of the Community & Good Relations Officer will be ensuring the development of good relations with the local community, including urban social housing estates and rural areas affected by the conflict, encouraging the take-up of supports and opportunities offered. The officer will undertake the design and delivery of creative media programmes suitable for the engagement of communities in Creative Spark, the Louth Creative Community Hub.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with community groups on capacity building projects and/or creative community engagement projects. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working on a cross-community basis. He/she will have proven abilities of managing projects in this sector and have excellent communication skills. The position will be offered on a 2 year part-time (17.5 hours per week) fixed-term contract basis.
