General, applications

The Crafts Council of Ireland, (CCoI), are currently seeking applications from craftspeople interested in delivering education workshops to people of all ages during 2010 and 2011. The workshops may take place on site at the National Craft Gallery (NCG), in schools both primary and post-primary or at a variety of locations throughout Ireland.

The Craft Education Panel will provide the Crafts Council of Ireland with an important resource of experienced craftspeople who are passionate about craft and committed to sharing their expertise.  As part of the education panel you may be facilitating one-off projects with specific target groups or long- term education initiatives. Activities will include schools programmes, residencies or practical workshops and talks to coincide with NCG exhibitions and touring shows.

This opportunity will be of interest to artists and craftspeople from every region working in all craft disciplines who are passionate about education, have experience at facilitating workshops or who may wish to work in this area in the future. Training will be provided by CCoI where applicable and facilitators will be paid an agreed rate for the delivery of programmes.

Click here to visit the CCoI opportunities page and download an application form (Opportunity no. 6).  Please forward, together with a current copy of your C.V., to leslie@ccoi.ie by Friday, 21st May
