Competitions, Funding, Opportunities

The 2010 RDS National Crafts Competition, in partnership with the Crafts Council of Ireland, has been launched. Regarded as one of the largest competitive platforms for Craft in Europe, the Competition’s 20 categories are adjudicated by an independent, international panel of judges that the RDS brings to Ireland each year.
Open to craft workers and designers living in Ireland or Irish makers abroad, the Competition has a prize fund in excess of €28,000.

Entrants must complete the online application form and attach an image of their work together with the entry fee of €15 (€10 students and apprentices) on or before the deadline of May 17, 2010 at 5.00 pm. For full Competition  details click here to visit the RDS website
